Superfoods and Supplements – Body Nourishment

When it comes to nourishing your body, the very best step to take is to feed your body healthy, organic, whole foods. Period. Nothing can beat that!
However, there are times, when our body is depleted and needs some more help that our regular food and produce can’t provide. I think of superfoods and supplements in form of jump starting your body’s energy, and ability to function at its best.
Working on emotional issues is great, and my passion. But I also belief that sometimes we need to help our body with a substance, a mineral, a high anti-oxidants, vitamins, and else.
Superfoods can be integrated into your daily meals and into snacks. I eat most of them daily.
Supplements are often the extracts of a superfood. Therefore I usually eat the superfood before taking a supplement. However, some minerals and vitamins don’t come in a high potency as such. So we turn to supplements. I take them if indicated by my doctor, or health practitioner, never just because it sounds good!
